Everyday should be Christmas.

anyways, i'm here to say that tmr's the LAST day of my H2 papers. thank God. [WATCHING A MOVIE TMR!!!] i don't know if i can actually hit C grades this mid years. haiyo. the guys are planning on H3 chemistry. i guess i can only support them. can't bring myself to take it with them. its just too tough.
just wanna say a big THANK YOU to my study group guys.. aka. my fellow muggers that mugged with me during the holidays. melvin n osborne, i owe u guys alot. we shall strive to increase our mugging stamina while preparing for the promos next (: mel and borne, you rock! thanks for pushing me to mug moreeee..
as for my chemistry guru, meiping, thanks so much for allowing me to consistently bombard you with chemistry questions, and teaching me stuff i don't know about chemistry!
my dear calina, thanks so much for going for maths tuition together with me. i have alot of catching up to do for maths. and i am willing to do that so i can get grades as good as yours! haha. evil of me. anyways, we both think aunty ginny rocks (:

whistler - the ultimate ski resort.
well obviously, i didn't go skiing. but you won't believe it. i went water rafting. haha. i was freaked out at first, thinking why the hell i got myself into this in the first place. but then again, i keep telling myself, if i don't go rafting, my trip won't be exciting enough for me.
so i took the challenge. our trainer said that the snow from the mountain was melting cuz its turning summer for whistler. so the water level for rivers rose real high and rapids were of much faster speed. when he said that, i nearly jumped off the bus that was taking us to the river for rafting. then again, i didn't.
the family's rafting crew. [notice the number is much smaller than the family's kayaking crew?] this was where we trained. in the calm lake. absoutely NOTHING compared to the rapids.
this is the real thing. they call it the "avalanche". it was so bad, my uncle nearly fell off! and as expected, i screamed throughout the stretch of river.

The week on the Norwegian Cruise Line to Alaksa.
This cruise (Norwegian Star) is sweet. Its the largest I have been on so far! So much better and bigger than the Norwegian Sun! there's a REAL theatre on board, 10 restaurants (they're really grand) , 1 wild wild wet styled pool, 1 whole sports deck, 1 cinema, 1 library, think about 5 bars, 1 arcade, shopping galleria, kids pool, huge gym and lots more I cannot remember. I still get lost around the ship sometimes.. Here’s some of the pics of some places around the ship (:

the oasis pool
The ship stops by about 5 stops in Alaska. On day 3 of the cruise, we stopped by Juneau. Went sea glacier kayaking. BEAUTIFUL. A sea otter popped his head out from the water right in front of me while kayaking! I got a shock at first, then my brain functioned again and realized it was a sea otter. Cute things. Then we kayaked close up to see the glacier and bald eagles. Once in a lifetime chance. Really. The water was freaking cold! Thank God I did not fall in! Well actually, it was freaking cold without even touching the water! My hands were SO numb and BLUE. shopped a little too, got really cute stuff for meiping, calina, tricia, sharlene and Audrey! Still cannot what to get for the guys. Argh.
Yesterday was formal night and its one of the nights where we dress up SUPER FORMALLY. (its formal every night to me) the photographers on board took loadsa pics of the whole family, 18 of us! All the pics they took turned out really good, so mom ended up buying all. Everything’s expensive on this ship.. pics cost like 26 bucks per piece! So mom ended up paying US$131 in total (that’s SG$209.60) crazy. But the pics were really pretty. So I guess its worth it. We also hardly have such a big family reunion
too. Especially from my mommy’s side of the family since we live around the globe! Here is just one informal pic we took on formal night. (just the 6 of youngsters on one table)
the kayaking crew from the family!

Day 4, stopped by Skagway, Alaska. Shopped mostly for the guys there. Got shirts for Melvin, Osborne, teng ming and jia jie. So sorry I cannot get one for everyone. I'm broke already. The scenery just gets better everyday cuz we are sailing up North. Obviously, it gets colder everyday. Took some pics with the beautiful scenery today. Will post it up here. Have not seen a polar bear though...
yup, that's how beautiful it is.
the captain and i! yay!
Day 5, sailed slowly pass Glacier Bay this morning. BEAUTIFUL. Got to view the glaciers from The Bridge and spoke to the captain and chief Engineer. Real funny Swedish people.
"jaw drops open"
Got invited to a VIP cocktail party with the captain and dinner with the chief engineer. The Staff Captain, chief engineer and all were there for dinner too. Nice dinner. Greatest and best service. One thing I like about this ship is that the crew is entirely international. Even the Bridge consists of Swedish, Indonesian, Malaysian and English people (:
yup, big family.
mommy, daddy and me!
Day 6, stopped by Ketchikan in Alaska. Nice weather! At least its not that cold there. Didn't get much there. Just took loadsa pics. Had teppanyaki for dinner. Yumms! Best dinner on board the ship! Then there was the absolute chocoholic buffet. EVERYTHING WAS CHOCOLATE. Took loadsa pics too! Saw a Chocolate guitar too, reminded me of Melvin. Haha. [don't worry mel, i will send you one pic of the guitar]
yup, that's my ship! [the chocolote version]
mmm.. my favourite.
this one's for mel (:
Day 7. Disembarked from the ship and drove back to Vancouver from seattle. Stayed over at Vancouver for a night and will be leaving for Whistler tomorrow. Counting the days till I get back. Missing you. Can't wait to REALLY start studying for my mid years too. I’m getting worried.

Day one. 1 june (11.25pm) local time in Canada.
Vancouver, Canada.
Alrights. I typed this entry out while I didn't have internet connection so it'd be easier when I had connection later on so I can just copy and paste onto blogger.
Stopped over at Vancouver for 2 days to wait for older bro to reach as he could only leave 1 day later than all of us. Did a little shopping, but still feel that shopping at canada's much more expensive than in U.S. bought 3 pairs of earrings and a earring holder. Total price: $45. gonna go down to do more shopping tmr morning, but still gotta spend wisely. Gotta buy chocs for everyone and all.
Well, the flight was horrid. 18 hours in mid-air. Felt rather terrible, so I took motion sickness pills that caused me to sleep throughout the trip. Great. Didn't get much of a chance to do chem. On board the plane. Will be going down to seattle on Saturday to meet my cousins and the rest of my relatives there! Yeah! Miss them so much! Then here comes the fun part: cruise to Alaska! Can’t wait to snap loadsa pics!
Oh yeah, btw, I met this Canadian immigration officer at the airport in Canada. He's Chinese, but has a Canadian citizenship. He's SO cute! Calina, sorry I couldn’t snap a pic of him to show it to you. But I feel he looks MUCH better than Korean guys you mentioned about (:
Missing the clan again and again.
I listened to "shan hu hai" by jay chou loadsa times on the plane and thought about you again and again...
day 2.
didn't feel well today. had loadsa gas in my tummy. just felt like vomitting the whole day. so i shopped and suffered in silence. haiyo. wonder when i'll be ok. shopping in canada's gonna cost me a bomb, i tell you. so i'm hoping i have time to shop in US. korh's coming tmr. can't wait. then we can all go down to seattle tmr and meet my cousins! then the cruise to alaska with my cousins! yeah! haven't seen them in 2 years. boy, i miss them!
i miss everyone. again. i just can't wait till i get back home. well, at least i feel this way for now.. (my tummy still hurts. bleah) didn't take much pics so its pointless to post them up here when all i did in canada was shop!
wonder how jiajie and osborne's doing right now. hope they're not freezing their butts off just like i am now.. haha. wonder how am i gonna survive when i'm at alaska. life time experience though.. alrights. i gtg now. take care guys! i miss you!!!
*to the clan: PLEASE take me out to study with you guys. maybe to the airport or smth. its an ideal place to study! i need help with my work! i couldn't do most of the questions i practised on today! got me really frustrated. argh.
missing you..

Everyday should be Christmas.
i'm leaving on a jet plane. again. it seemed like just yesterday when i was bidding my friends goodbye on my last trip, last december. i guess its the workloadin school that makes everything seem to just flash past my life. everything, but studies. they just seem to cling onto me. face it, its never going to end.
well, i'm blogging last minute to blog my last entry (i hope not) till i'm back. i hope i'll be able to have internet connection when i'm away so i'll be able to post pictures and update my blog so those who miss me can just click on my blog and see how i'm doing in U.S! haha.
I'll be going white water rafting and will be seeing polar bears in alaska. sweet! i hope i won't drown or anything. anyways, right now, i associate jj with china, and borne with new york. haiya. miss them much. i'll miss laughing with meiping and going shopping with calina. i'll miss my 73 buddy, melvin. i'll miss giving teng ming morning calls. i'll miss crapping with borne. i'll miss laughing at jj when he falls asleep. i'll miss my 3 grandsons - zi xuan, aloysius and teng ming. i'll miss singing with tricia. i'll miss everyone. in church, in school (0622!), in NY choir. bleah.
till then!
