1. last day of nursing interview today. will be assessing our interview results next week. hope all goes well.

2. got another interview @ NUS for faculty of science. yup, feeling nervous again.

if i end up in FoS, i'll just work towards NIE and probably end up teaching. hmmm..... its not easy being a teacher! me of all people would understand that best.

but that fact that i can get shortlisted into faculty of science mean i couldn't make it into chem eng and business admin. sigh.

my choices in NUS:
1. Nursing
2. chem eng
3. business admin
4. science
5. environmental eng

*choices in red are obviously ruled out to me*

3. Sharlene dear's going to NIE. which makes me feel we're all growing up way too fast. in a couple of years, we'll all be done with school. sad.

i really miss school. work's so tiring and mundane.

its the beginning of week 6. this means 2 weeks to exams in SJI-jr (more scripts to mark), and 4 more weeks till i stop working! yayness. anyway, updates since the last i blogged:

1. i got shortlisted for nursing in NUS, interview's on wednesday.

2. met up with vball team girls today, realised a whole bunch of my friends are in nursing too.

3. 7 more days till 0622 gathering again. waiting to hear stories from the guys!! hah.

anyway, its ironical how the school of nursing studies in NUS is located on ENGINEERING DRIVE.. what's worse, my brother will be studying mech eng in the same year as me! so wierd to be in the same school.

plus, i really wonder what's the need of an interview for nursing in nus. they'll throw a dead body or maybe ask you to massage a pig's liver filled with blood and gore, you think? MAYBE. i have this feeling they want to test how strong you can take this stuff. i'm still thinking whether i'm up to standards for what nursing demands of me. sigh.

the last thing i spotted in the letter from NUS was that it was signed off by the office of admission, TAN WEE TECK. hah. wow. small world. what about Lim Teck Wee??? heehee..

things are moving along fast. osborne got into chemistry in NTU, james got into business in SMU. i don't know about the rest, but it seems like we're the only ones battling out the interviews for the time being now. hope all goes well for everyone yeah?

updates.

1. I passed my driving test at first attempt on 1st April (10 points), and its NOT an April fool's joke. I'm a qualified driver now.

2. Had a day off today, so i spent the entire day at the zoo. So that's my main topic for today.

Well, i drove to the zoo without my parents in the car to help me naviagate. At first, i was seriously scared i'd get lost. but with the help of my co-pilot, we made it to the zoo in 20 mins (: i'm still surprised my parents would trust me with the car today. but its still in one piece. so i should be fine.

the zoo is nothing like i thought it would be. i can't even remember the last time i visited it! its really nice now. lots more animals to see. and they're more well fed now! i urge you to go take a look when you're free.. haha. i managed to get quite a few pictures of animals i saw, but still couldn't capture all of them. the polar bear was too far for me to snap a pic of him. haha. nick was complaining its the same age as him. and the polar bear's so much bigger than him!

i put the pics up on my facebook account, so do take a look when you're there. its 90% animal pics. but i need to highlight that there is an overpopulation of primates in the zoo! they're everywhere in the zoo! and just like what lester said, they do IT anytime, anywhere. gross. that's the main reason for the overpopulation.

to end it off, here's a pic of ah meng's statue n me. that's the most i could get from ah meng. i never managed to take a pic with her before. but i must admit, we look the same.. haha.
